Kannada’s most viewed reality shows, which started on 28 September, have been closed 10 days after the premiere. The show’s set has been sealed and 16 contestants present in the show have been removed from the show.
The shooting of the reality show Bigg Boss Kannada-12 was going on in Bidadi’s Jolly Wood Studio and Adventures. Investigation revealed that the rules related to the tourism are being violated by the studio.

On October 6, all the activities released in the studio were ordered to be closed with immediate effect, after which the studio has been sealed. This action was taken by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board of Karnataka. Following the order, activists of Kasturi Karnataka Janpara Vedike staged a protest outside the show’s set. Now the show has been completely closed.
All the contestants have been excluded from the show.
During the investigation, it has also been revealed that two big diesel generators were running at the shooting location, which is causing a lot of pollution. Also, disposal cups and waste of plates have also been found at the location, due to which a lot of dirt has accumulated. Apart from this, the investigating officers also expressed concern over the sewage management on the set.
On October 6, a notice was sent to the studio by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, stating that large -scale entertainment and studios are being run on the campus, while the required installation for it has not been allowed and consent of operation. Which is against the Water Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1974 and the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1981.
The notice warns that strict action will be taken against them if the order is not followed by the studio and the studio is not closed immediately. The studio has now been sealed after the stated deadline.
