Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir has issued a stern warning to those trying to create anarchy in the country. He said creating a crisis in the country is the ‘biggest crime’. The army will foil any such attempt and protect the country.
According to a report in Pakistani newspaper The Tribune Express, the army chief’s statement came after posts on social media comparing the situation in Pakistan with that of Bangladesh.
Speaking at the National Ulema Convention in Islamabad, Munir said that if anyone tries to spread anarchy in Pakistan, “by Allah, we will fight them”. He assured that with the mercy of Allah, the Pakistan Army will be able to put an end to the unrest and chaos.

Munir also took a dig at India without naming it. He said- where are those people who used to say that they have drowned the two-nation theory in the Bay of Bengal. The military chief said that no power in the world can harm Pakistan because it has been built to last till the end.
Munir said that if you want to know how important the country is, then look at Iraq, Syria and Libya. Pakistan will always be present because it has been built till the last moment. He said that lakhs of Asim Munirs, lakhs of leaders and lakhs of scholars have sacrificed for this Pakistan because the country is more important than us.
Social media was told the reason for violent incidents
The Army Chief blamed social media for the anarchic incidents in the country. He said that in the last few years, the army has been criticized more on social media. This is ruining the political and social fabric of the country. Arrests and legal action are being taken against those who try to do so.
General Munir described corruption as an evil and said it is the biggest crime in the eyes of Allah. Munir said that as per the orders of Allah, the Pakistan Army is working hard to eliminate corruption from the country. He also said that he does not consider those who do not follow Sharia and the Constitution as Pakistanis.
In his address, Munir spoke on the long-standing Kashmir issue. He described Kashmir as an unfinished agenda of India and Pakistan. He expressed grief over the atrocities going on in Gaza. He said that he cries tears of blood seeing the suffering of the people in Gaza.
