Violence broke out once again in Bangladesh. Late on Sunday night, a clash broke out between paramilitary forces (Ansar Group) and students. In which 40 people were injured. Actually, Ansar Group was protesting for the last two days. Ansar Group demands that their jobs should be nationalized.

On Sunday (25 August), many members of the Ansar Group reached the Secretariat. They closed the gate. They did not allow any government official to come out. Some members of the student organization also got trapped inside. They appealed to hundreds of students through Facebook to come to the Secretariat.

When a large number of students moved towards the secretariat, they clashed with the members of Ansar Group who were already present there. The students allege that Ansar Group is working as an agent of former Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina.

Ansar group threw stones, clash started again
According to Dhaka Tribune, the clash started around 9 pm when thousands of students started moving towards the secretariat. At 9:30, the members of Ansar group started retreating. After this, they chased the students with sticks. Some also started throwing stones. After which the students also attacked.

Apart from Yunus, the President also administered oath to 13 of the 16 members who were to join the government on August 8. Those who took oath also included student leaders Nahid Islam and Asif Mahmud, who were Hasina’s opponents.

31 cases have been registered against Sheikh Hasina so far, her son, daughter and sister have also been made accused
Since the formation of the new government in Bangladesh, 31 cases have been registered against Sheikh Hasina. These include 26 murders, 4 massacres and one kidnapping case. Mufti Harun Izhar Chowdhury, secretary of Hefazat-e-Islam, an organization of Bangladesh, has filed a complaint against Hasina in the International Crime Tribunal. According to the complaint, activists of Hefazat-e-Islam were protesting in Dhaka on 5 May 2013 demanding a law against blasphemy.

During this, the police used force on the violent mob. 27 people were killed in this. After 11 years, a case of genocide has been registered against Hasina in this case. Hasina’s son Sajeeb Wajid Joy, daughter Saima Wajid Putul and sister Sheikh Rehana have also been made accused in this.
