The board has also retained Liton Das as T20 captain till 2028 and Mehdi Hasan till 2027.

6 big faces left us in 3 days After the meeting held on Saturday, Saniyan Tanim, Mehrab Alam, Faizur Rahman and Manzoorul Alam submitted their resignations. Two days before this, Yasir Mohammad and Faisal Ashiq had also resigned from their posts. Till now 6 directors have left BCB. It is believed that some other people are also preparing to step down.

Controversy situation in BCB for many days There is a lot of controversy going on regarding the last election of the board. Now the National Sports Council is investigating it. It is believed that to avoid this investigation and media questions, the Chairman did not come to the press conference after the meeting. Even before this, some senior officials had resigned citing ‘personal reasons’, but the real reason is believed to be the discord within the board.

Liton Das will captain the ODI Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has kept Mehndi Hasan Miraj as the captain till 2027 ODI World Cup and Liton Das till 2028 T20 World Cup. The board believes that with longer responsibility, both the captains will be able to prepare their team better. The board has appointed former legend Mohammad Rafiq as spin bowling consultant for one year.
