A big revelation has come to light in the case of a Hindu youth who was killed in an attack by violent protesters in Bangladesh late Thursday night.

It was being claimed that deceased Dipu Chandra Das had made comments on Facebook that hurt religious sentiments. But now no evidence of any such comment has been found in the investigation.

Mohammad Shamsuzzaman, company commander of Bangladesh’s Rapid Action Battalion, told Bangladeshi newspaper ‘The Daily Star’ that no evidence has been found to say that Das had written anything on Facebook that could hurt religious sentiments.

Even colleagues are not aware of blasphemy

The deceased, 25-year-old Das, worked in a textile factory in Bhaluka near Dhaka. He was murdered outside this factory.

Shamsuzzaman said that no information related to blasphemy has been received from the local people and those who worked with Das in the garment factory.

He told that no such person has been found who has claimed that he himself has heard or seen anything like blasphemy which has hurt the religion.

According to BBC Bangla report, Das’s body was stripped naked, hung from a tree and set on fire. Its video is going viral on social media in which people are seen raising slogans of ‘Allah-Hu-Akbar’.
