On Saturday, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) attacked 12 places simultaneously in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. According to news agency AFP, at least 10 security personnel have died in the attacks. At the same time, 37 fighters were also killed in retaliation by Pakistani security forces.
A security official said that Baloch insurgents launched simultaneous attacks at more than 12 places in Quetta, Pasni, Mastung, Nushki and Gwadar districts on Saturday morning. At least four policemen were killed in the capital Quetta.
However, it was not clear whether these four policemen were included in those 10 security personnel or not. A senior officer of Quetta also said that the fighters have kidnapped the Deputy Commissioner of Nushki district.
BLA has named it ‘Operation Hereof’. After the attack, Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif issued a statement claiming that India was behind these attacks.

Baloch Liberation Army has taken responsibility for these attacks. The organization said it targeted military bases, police and administrative officials. It was also claimed that the main highways were closed so that the army’s action could be hindered.
BLA fighters have released a video on social media claiming that they have captured a market area in Quetta.
According to reports, armed terrorists entered the market and had control over the entire area for some time. However, official information regarding this incident has not yet been revealed by the security agencies.

An AFP journalist in Quetta said several explosions were heard in the city. Heavy security was deployed throughout the city, main streets were deserted and businesses came to a standstill.
“There have been continuous explosions since morning,” said Abdul Wali, a 38-year-old private employee. His mother is hospitalized and needed blood. He said, “The police point guns at us and tell us to go back, otherwise they will kill us. What should we do in such a situation?”
These attacks came a day after the army claimed to have killed 41 insurgents in two separate operations in Balochistan.
Shahbaz said – the fight will continue till the end of terrorism
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued a statement claiming that these attacks had been foiled. He also praised the security forces for this. He said that he and the entire country are proud of our martyrs.
He also accused India of being behind these attacks. He said that this fight will continue until terrorism is completely eliminated from the country.
