The stock market made an all-time high for the second consecutive trading day on Thursday. During trading, the Sensex touched 81,522 and the Nifty touched 24,829. However, later the market came down a bit and the Sensex closed at 81,343 with a gain of 626 points. At the same time, the Nifty also rose by 187 points, closing at 24,800.
Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 22 saw a rise and 8 saw a fall. The IT sector saw the highest rise of 2.22%. On the other hand, the media sector saw the highest fall of 3.57%. Earlier on Tuesday too, the market had made an all-time high. Yesterday, i.e. on Wednesday, the market was closed on account of Muharram holiday.

2. Today gold price rises, silver falls: 10 grams of gold reached Rs 73,979, one kg silver came to Rs 91,555

Gold prices rose on Thursday. According to the website of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), 10 grams of 24 carat gold rose by Rs 640 to Rs 73,979. Yesterday its price was Rs 73,339 per ten grams.
However, silver prices declined. One kg silver fell by Rs 459 and was sold at Rs 91,555 per kg. Earlier, silver was at Rs 92,014 per kg. This year, silver had reached its all-time high of Rs 94,280 per kg on May 29.
