Apart from the web series ‘Mirzapur’, Divyendu has worked in projects like ‘Pyaar Ka Panchnama’, ‘Chashme Baddoor’, and ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’.
Actor Divyendu Sharma got a special identity from the web series Mirzapur. He played the role of Mun Tripathi in the show, which became extremely popular among the audience. Recently, Divyendu Sharma spoke to Dainik Bhaskar on his upcoming projects, such as film and South Industry experiences.
Question: The film ‘Mirzapur’ is coming, what would they like to say those who considered Munna as immortal?
answer: If I tell the truth, the most happiness is for the fans. He saw the scene of ‘Munna”s death in season 2 of’ Mirzapur ‘, yet he refused to believe that’ Munna ‘was dead. Hardly any character would have received so much love and praise. I think the result of his collective blessings and energy is that ‘Mirzapur’ film is being made today and I had to come back. My dialogue “Hum Amar Hai” has proved to be true. Munna’s return even after death is proof of this.
Question: Will your style change due to coming on the big screen?
answer: no way. The effort will be that the role that people have loved so much, they get to see them. Yes, there will be some surprise, but the core character will remain the same.

Divyendu played the role of ‘Munna Tripathi’, the son of Pankaj Tripathi’s character in the web series ‘Mirzapur’.
Question: How challenging is it to play a gray and dark character like ‘Munna’?
answer: It is not easy to go back to that dark space, but this time I am more intelligent. In the first season, the entire character was made without thinking. Now I know from the experience how deep to go and when to get out.
Question: Is there any nervous nes to play the role of Munna Tripathi in the film Mirzapur?
answer: To be honest, I do not think that I need to play this character. People see me with so much love and affection that perhaps they will do half my work themselves. This character is like this. Yes, there is a little nervousness because it is a film and I am presenting it again on the big screen, but I am confident in my fans that they will see it and they will enjoy it.
The script is very fun and will fully judge the expectations of the people. It has forest-liners that can already become a part of meme culture and can engulf people’s tongue. I am paying special attention to this character, as it is not an easy or normal character.
Question: You are working with Ram Charan in the film ‘Paddy’, how was the shooting experience there?
answer: The experience was very good and got to learn a lot from there. His working culture is quite different from us. Got a chance to learn new things, enjoying working with technicians. My director Buchi Babu is a very cute person. Language was a big obstacle, but Ram Charan also met so warmly that he felt like a house there.
Question: How difficult it was to act in Telugu language? answer: It was quite challenging. It was very important to understand the nuances of the language, to take care of the right poses and full stops. I wanted my voice to look like actors there. There was also some nervousness that everyone could get out right, but worked hard.
