Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar, which was released in theaters on December 5, has been continuously breaking records since its release. The Ranveer Singh starrer has now become the first Hindi film to cross the Rs 800 crore mark at the domestic box office within 30 days of its release.

Jio Studios, one of the producers of the film, said on Sunday that Dhurandhar has earned Rs 806.80 crore in the first 30 days in India. The film earned Rs 218 crore nett in the first week. The collection in the second week was 261.5 crores. The film earned Rs 188.3 crore in the third week and Rs 115.70 crore in the fourth week.

The film earned Rs 9.70 crore on Friday and Rs 12.60 crore on Saturday. With this the total collection in India reached above Rs 800 crore. At the same time, the worldwide collection of the film has reached Rs 1186.25 crore. The film is still running in theaters and continues to earn.

Earlier, Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2: The Rule had earned a net worth of Rs 1234.1 crore at the domestic box office, out of which Rs 812.14 crore came from the Hindi market.

At the same time, in the year 2023, Shahrukh Khan’s film Jawan had earned Rs 640 crore in India, while Vicky Kaushal’s 2025 film Chhaava had earned Rs 600 crore.

Talking about the second record of Dhurandhar, it is the only Indian film which has earned double-digit (more than Rs 10 crore nett) in India for 28 consecutive days. Also, this film proved to be the highest grossing Hindi film of the year 2025.

Meanwhile, a discussion started in a section of the media that all is not well between Akshay and his brother Rahul Khanna. The reason given for this was that despite being active on social media, Rahul did not post anything about Akshay’s work in Dhurandhar. After these speculations, Rahul also talked about this.

Rahul Khanna is the elder brother of Akshay. He has worked in films and international series like ‘Earth’.

In an interview given to Mid-Day on December 21, Rahul had said that he has not seen Dhurandhar yet. He told that he is waiting for Akshay to watch the film.

Rahul said, “I have not seen the film yet. I am waiting for him to show me the film. But whatever he wears, he looks good. I am sure he will look great in the film.”

However, even after this, no information was revealed whether Rahul watched the film Dhurandhar or not.
