From the streets of Delhi to the corridors of the court, these days the same name is in discussion- Pakhandi Baba Swami Chaitanyanand alias Partha Sarathi. Under the guise of religion and education, he weaved such a trap, in which many innocent students got trapped. Police raids, statements and testimony of the victims have exposed the entire face of his hypocrisy. This Baba, who once pretended to be a guru by sitting on the chair of Chancellor, actually turned out to be an organized criminal. The conspiracy to supply girls from sexual exploitation to Dubai has made this case even more serious. The question is now that after so many crimes, the law will punish this hypocritical?
Reveal of black misdeeds
As the investigation of the Delhi Police is moving forward, the layers of the handiwork of hypocritical Baba Swami Chaitanyanand alias Partha Sarathi are opening. The police has reached the guest house of Almora, where Parthasarathy stayed with the girl students. The employees there confirmed that there were unfair activities with the girl students. This statement has further exposed Baba’s black face.
Three women partners arrested
In this whole case, Baba’s three close associates Shweta Sharma (Associate Dean), Bhavna Kapil (Executive Director) and Kajal (Senior Faculty) were arrested. They are accused that they helped Baba in threatening, pressurizing the girl students and destroying the evidence. In police interrogation, the three accepted their crime.
Psychological pressure on girl students
Police investigation revealed that these three women used to torture the students with discipline and other excuses at the behest of Baba. Even Baba made indecent comments on the pictures of yoga. The women admitted that she used to work only on the orders of Parthasarathy.
Question on the credibility of the institute
After this revelation, serious questions have arisen on the credibility of Sri Sharda Institute of Indian Management and Research (Srisiim) in Delhi. The police has so far questioned more than 30 girl students. Many clearly told that Baba used to make the poor and students who got scholarships their victims.
Girls accused
Many students doing the PGDM course of the institute accused Baba of sexual abuse, molestation and mental torture. Delhi Police has registered two separate cases. The institute is affiliated to Mr. Sharda Peetham, Karnataka and also has a hostel, where embarrassing incidents have come to light.
FIR and currents
On 4 August 2025, an FIR was registered in this case at Vasant Kunj police station. Police have imposed sections 75 (2), 79 and 351 (2) of the Code of India Justice (BNS). These sections are associated with crimes like sexual harassment, molestation and threats. The police has recorded the statements of many girl students and forensic analysis of evidence is going on.
BNS Section 75 (2)
This section applies to crimes such as sexual harassment, improper physical contact, sexual proposal and showing pornographic content. If found guilty, there may be a maximum sentence of 3 years or fine or both. This crime is cognizable and arrest is possible.
BNS Section 79
Section 79 applies to the words, gestures or actions that dissolve the shame of a woman. Under this, there can be imprisonment or fine of up to three years. However, this is a bailable offense. In the case of Baba, messages and indecent comments sent to the girl students come under this section.
BNS Section 351 (2)
This section is related to criminal intimidation. Under sub -section 2, normal threats can cause jail and fine up to 2 years. This is a bailable offense. But there is also evidence of serious threats and pressure on Baba, which can cause punishment.
Dubai connection revealed
The chats from Baba’s mobile shocked the police. In this, he was seen planning to send the students to Dubai. A Sheikh’s name appeared in the chats. Baba used to say to the students- “Sheikh of Dubai wants a sex partner, do you have a friend?” It points to foreign networks.
Fraud to make airhostesses
Pictures and biodata of airhostess were found from Baba’s mobile. It is suspected that he used to implicate girls with a dream of making airhostesses. Her ally three sisters Rashmi, Kajal and Shweta told in interrogation that she used to help Baba.
Honeytrap and Monitoring
Baba used to try to trap the girls in the honeytrap. In the chats, he hugged a girl and lured the money to send a photo. He had the Hik Vision app, so that he used to monitor the CCTV cameras of the ashram. Not only this, his room was like a luxury suit.
Ferrari and arrest
Baba escaped for two months and kept hiding in hotels in Mathura, Vrindavan and Agra. Eventually the police arrested him from Tajganj area of Agra. Three mobiles, an iPad, fake passport and fake visiting cards were found from him. His assets worth 8 crores were also seized.
Fake identity and network
After the arrest, it was revealed that Baba had two fake identity cards- one ‘Swami Partha Sarathi’ and the otherSwami Chaitanyanand SaraswatiIn the name of ‘ He got fake cards of the United Nations and BRICS. He spread his network not only in the country but also abroad.
Possibility of serious punishment
The Delhi Police is now looking forward to this case by pushing this case to the international sex racket. If a crime is proved under all sections in the court, then Baba can be sentenced to a maximum of 3 years + 3 years + 2 years i.e. 8 years in many cases. But this punishment can increase even more if provocked of foreign connections and organized crimes.
