On Friday, while going to Nawabshah from Karachi, the mob attacked the Asifa Bhutte convoy.
The convoy of Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari’s daughter and MP Asifa Bhutto was attacked by a mob on Friday. Its video surfaced on Saturday.
According to the police, Asifa was going from Karachi to Nawabshah. Meanwhile, the protesters stopped his convoy and raised slogans against the disputed canal project and corporate farming. Some people attacked the convoy vehicles with hands and sticks.
The security team and Hyderabad police present with Asifa immediately took action and their car was safely evacuated from there. There were no casualties in this whole incident.
The Government of Pakistan is planning to build a canal on the Sindh River. The locals are angry with this. Angry people burnt the house of Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar on Tuesday.
There were also many children in the attack crowd, who attacked with sticks.
The convoy stopped for less than 1 minute
SSP Zafar Siddiq of the area told the media that the convoy had stopped for less than a minute and Asifa or his security personnel did not suffer any harm.
He said- FIR has been lodged against the protesters trying to make peace and many people have been arrested. Strict action will be taken against those who spread unrest.
Sindh Home Minister’s house burnt in Pakistan
Protesters in Pakistan burnt the house of Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar on Tuesday. The protesters also beat the guards deployed in the security of the house.

Government wants to take Sindh water to Cholistan, people angry with this
According to Pakistani website Jio TV, the government plans to cultivate thousands of acres of barren land in Cholistan by making canals on Sindh River. It costs around 211 billion Pakistani rupees (63 billion Indian rupees). However, Bilawal Bhutto’s party PPP is against it.
He says that Sindh will suffer damage and his water will be taken away. A few weeks ago, a committee (Council of Common Interest-CCI) also rejected the project. He said that no new canal will be built until all states (provinces) have mutual consent.

A police officer (SHO) and two policemen were injured in the clash, while five protesters also suffered injuries. All were admitted to the hospital.
Asifa comes from Pakistan’s most powerful family On 18 December 1987, Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari were married. Both have three children. Asifa is the youngest. His entire education was done in Britain. Asifa’s elder sister Bakhtawar Bhutto is married to a London businessman.
Bhai Bilawal is the chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). Mother Benazir was shot dead during a rally on 27 December 2007.
