Pakistan has objected to the statement of Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh regarding Pakistan’s Sindh province. Pakistan says that this statement is wrong, provocative and dangerous.

Pakistan said that such statements are against international law and the boundaries of countries. Pakistan demanded that Indian leaders avoid such talk as it could increase tension in the region.

In fact, Rajnath Singh had said in Delhi yesterday that even though the land of Sindh may not be a part of India today, Sindh will always be a part of India as per civilization. As far as land is concerned. Who knows when the border will change, tomorrow Sindh may come back to India.

Rajnath Singh said these things while addressing the Sindhi Conference in Delhi on Sunday.

Pakistan also mentioned Jammu and Kashmir

While making statements on India’s internal affairs, Pakistan said that India should protect the minorities. Regarding Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan again said that this issue should be resolved as per the resolutions of the United Nations and the wishes of the Kashmiri people.

Pakistan says that it wants to resolve all issues with India peacefully, but at the same time it is always ready to protect the security and sovereignty of its country.

Sindh leader welcomed Rajnath’s statement

Jai Sindh Muttahida Mahaj (JSMM) leader Shafi Burfat has warmly welcomed Rajnath Singh’s statement. He wrote that this statement is historic, encouraging and inspirational for the Sindhi people.

According to him, this statement raises hopes for the independence of Sindh and stronger relations with India in the future. He said that the Sindhudesh movement from the very beginning has believed in the idea that there are deep cultural, historical and emotional ties between Sindh and India.

Burfat accused Pakistan of trying to weaken the identity, language and culture of the Sindhi people. He said that the political rights of Sindhis are being snatched away in Pakistan, their resources are being exploited and the workers are being tortured.

Hindus and Muslims fought together for separate Sindh

Till 1936, Sindh along with Gujarat and Maharashtra was also a part of Bombay Province. Muslims and Hindus of Sindh had protested together to make it a separate province. People living in Sindh said that due to the dominance of Marathi and Gujaratis, their rights and traditions are being ignored.

In 1913, a Hindu named Harchandrai had demanded a separate Congress Assembly for Sindh. As soon as Sindh became a separate province in 1936, the political climate there started changing. In 1938, the demand for a separate Pakistan was raised for the first time from this land. In the annual session of the Muslim League held in Karachi, the capital of Sindh, Muhammad Ali Jinnah had for the first time officially demanded a separate country for Muslims, Pakistan.

In 1942, the Sindh Assembly passed a resolution demanding Pakistan. At this time the people of Sindh had no idea that partition would push them towards ruin. Just 5 years after the proposal, India was divided into two parts in 1947. Like the rest of Pakistan, Hindus here too had to leave their homes and move towards India.
