पहली तिमाही में वोल्टास का मुनाफा 159% बढ़कर ₹334 करोड़: AC बनाने वाली कंपनी का रेवेन्यू 46% बढ़ा, शेयर में 10% से ज्यादा तेजी

Tata Group’s air conditioner manufacturing company Voltas Limited has made a profit of Rs 334 crore in the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25. It has increased by 158.51% as compared to the same quarter a year ago. In Q1FY24 (first quarter of financial year 2023-24), the company had a profit of Rs 129 crore.

Talking about the consolidated revenue from the company’s operations, it was Rs 4,921 crore in the April-June quarter. It has increased by 46.46% on an annual basis. In the same quarter a year ago, the company had generated a revenue of Rs 3,360 crore. The amount received from selling goods and services is called revenue.

Voltas Limited’s total income increased by 45.82%
In the April-June quarter, the total income of Voltas Limited increased by 45.82% year-on-year to Rs 5,001 crore. In the first quarter of the financial year 2023-24, the company’s income was Rs 3,430 crore. At the same time, the total expense of the company during this period was Rs 4,520 crore.

Voltas shares rose more than 10%
After the results, Voltas Limited’s stock is seeing a gain of more than 10%. The company’s stock is trading at 1,579.65 today (Friday, 12 August) at 2:45 pm, up 10.43%.

The stock has given a return of 6.45% in the last 5 days, 3.92% in one month, 46.72% in 6 months and 91.16% in one year. Voltas stock has gained 61.34% this year i.e. from 1 January 2024 till now. The market-cap of the company is Rs 52,280 crore.

Voltas was started in 1954. It manufactures many products including air conditioners, water coolers and fridges. The company operates in India, Middle East, South East Asia and Africa. According to the company’s September quarter results, its market share in India for refrigerators is 3.3% and for washing machines is 5.4%. According to the company’s website, Voltas is at the top in terms of AC sales in India.
