Some people from Lyari area of Pakistan have asked for a share in the earnings of Aditya Dhar’s film ‘Dhurandhar 2’. This demand came to the fore in a viral video, where local people talked about the development of their area and construction of roads from the film’s earnings. The film ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is performing tremendously at the box office. The film has earned more than Rs 1200 crore in 10 days. Even before this, the first part of the film had earned more than Rs 1300 crore. The story of the film is based on the Lyari area of Pakistan, where the enmity and power struggle between two gangs is shown. In this context, the local people claimed that the film has made huge money by showcasing their area, hence they should also get a share of it. People also demanded to give Rs 500 crore. In the video shared by a YouTube channel named ‘Comparison TV’, some local people were seen reacting to the success of the film. One person said that if the film has earned thousands of crores, a major part of it should be invested in the development of Lyari. In the video, some people demanded Rs 500 crore or some people demanded 70-80% of the total earning. He said that the condition of the area’s roads and infrastructure was poor, and the film’s earnings should be used for improvements.
