Dhadak 2, the film of Karan Johar’s production house, has been passed by the censor board. However, before this, the film has been put in the entire 16 cuts, not one or two. The censor has objected to some violent scenes shown in the film and caste dialogues.
Following the suggestion of all the changes, the Central Board of Film Certification has given the film a U/A certificate. After the cuts, the film’s run time will be 2 hours 26 minutes.
Changes will be made in these scenes-
- A scene with caste -based words has to be changed or that part has to be muted.
- Some violent scenes of the film will be removed or will change.
- Political dialogues will be muted or removed.
Postpone has been done twice
Let us tell you that Karan Johar’s production film Dhadak 2 was scheduled to release on 22 November 2024. The makers announced this in May 2024. However, the makers had postponed the film without giving reasons. The film was then to be released in February 2025, although it did not happen.
The film Dhadak 2, released in the year 2018, is a sequel to Dhadak. Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar made their Bollywood debut from Dhadak. The film was a Hindi remake of the 2016 Marathi film Sairat. The film had a collection of over 100 crores. Now in the sequel film, Trupti Dimri and Gully Boy Fame Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi are going to be seen in the lead role. It is directed by Sajia Iqbal. The film is also going to be a remake of Tamil film Pariyarum Perumal. The film may be released on July 11.
