English newspaper Mirror has claimed citing intelligence reports that terrorist Osama bin Laden’s son Hamza bin Laden is alive. Hamza is engaged in setting up Al Qaeda’s network in Afghanistan.

Earlier, the US had claimed that Hamza was killed in an airstrike in 2019. The then US President Donald Trump also confirmed this on 14 September 2019. The Mirror report said that Hamza, along with his brother Abdullah bin Laden, was secretly running the al-Qaeda network in Afghanistan.

Mirror has made this claim citing the report of the anti-Taliban military organization National Mobilization Front (NMF). NMF has given information about Hamza and his associates in its report.
