Awadhesh Prasad was an MLA from this Milkipur seat. SP-BJP have geared up for the by-election on the Milkipur seat. Meanwhile, Awadhesh Prasad has given a statement, in which he said that no one can stop us from winning in Milkipur. Also, Awadhesh Prasad claimed that BJP will not get even 50 seats in the 2027 assembly elections and if it happens, I will leave politics.

Let us tell you that by-elections will be held on a total of 10 assembly seats in UP, but Milkipur seat It is the center of discussion. Meanwhile, a big statement of Awadhesh Prasad has come out regarding the Milkipur assembly by-election. He claimed that no matter what happens, the Samajwadi Party will win the Milkipur by-election in any case.

Talking to a news agency, Awadhesh Prasad said that no matter who comes, use all the power in the world, they will not be able to do anything in the Milkipur elections. They have police, government, power, they will show off, they will openly display it. They will openly use government money, government machinery, but history is a witness to the fact that whenever there has been a fight between the government and the public, the government has lost. The public has won.

According to Awadhesh Prasad- No one can stop us from winning in Milkipur. Samajwadi Party government will be formed in 2027. BJP will not even get 50 seats. If this does not happen then I will leave politics. I am not saying any ordinary thing. Samajwadi Party’s PDA formula is tremendous.

Direct competition between SP and BJP

It is known that by-elections are proposed on 10 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh namely Karhal, Milkipur, Sisamau, Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Phulpur, Majhawan, Katehari, Khair and Meerapur. The dates of voting and counting of votes are yet to be announced by the Election Commission. Out of these, 9 seats have fallen vacant due to the MLAs being elected as MPs, while the Sisamau seat of Kanpur has fallen vacant due to the cancellation of the membership of SP leader Irfan Solanki after he was sentenced to 6 years in jail in a case. The assembly constituencies going for by-elections also include Milkipur seat of Ayodhya and Katehari seat of Ambedkar Nagar.

Who can be the candidates?

BJP has not yet announced candidates for any seat for the by-elections. It is believed that CM Yogi Adityanath and the BJP organization are discussing many names. But two names are leading from the Samajwadi Party, in which Awadhesh Prasad’s son from Milkipur and Lalji Verma’s daughter Chhaya Verma from Katehari seat can be made candidates.

Mathematics of Milkipur

There are approximately 65 thousand Brahmin, 55 thousand Pasi, 22 thousand Kori, 15 thousand Harijan, 25 thousand Kshatriya, 23 thousand Muslim, 20 thousand Chaurasia, 17 thousand Baniya and 55 thousand Yadav voters in Milkipur. Being a reserved seat, candidates of all parties will be from Dalit community. This time BSP and Chandrashekhar (Azad Samaj Party) will also field their candidates.
