Agni News Service (ANS) released the pre-poll survey on Monday regarding the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. In this it has been claimed that DMK government will be formed again. According to the survey, DMK alliance can win 180 out of 234 seats with 44.9% vote share.
The opposition AIADMK alliance is expected to get 54 seats. Its vote share is said to be around 38.5%. Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) may get 9.7% vote share. The survey says that TVK Chief may lose the election from Perambur seat.
The current Chief Minister MK Stalin has the highest influence for the post of Chief Minister. More than 60% of the women surveyed may support DMK because of the ₹5000 assistance scheme. This survey of ANS was conducted between 7 February and 12 March. A total of 1,01,643 people gave their opinion in this.
Earlier, the AIADMK-led NDA finalized the seat sharing on Monday. Under this, AIADMK will contest elections on 178 seats. BJP has got 27 seats. PMK has been given 18 seats and AMMK has been given 11 seats.

Updates related to elections in five states…
- Seat sharing has been done between Congress and DMK for Puducherry Assembly elections. Congress will contest on 16 seats, while DMK has been given the remaining 14 seats. DMK will also give seats from its share to INDI alliance partners. In the 2021 assembly elections, Congress contested 14 seats and won 2 seats. Whereas DMK contested 13 seats and won 6 seats.
- The CPI(M)-led Left Front in West Bengal released its third list of 15 candidates. In this third list, there are CPI(M) candidates on 13 seats. Whereas All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) candidates are on 2 seats.
BJP’s election campaign will start in Assam from today
Here in Assam, the BJP-led alliance will formally start its election campaign from March 24. In this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and many big leaders will lead rallies and meetings.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had said on March 19 that the BJP’s election campaign would be based on an aggressive public relations strategy with the support of the central leadership. There will be more participation of senior leaders in this.
Sarma said that there will be about 4 to 6 rallies of the Prime Minister and about 8 rallies of the Home Minister in the state. Apart from Modi and Shah, BJP president Nitin Naveen and other national, regional leaders will also visit various assembly constituencies and campaign.
