The ongoing tension in the Middle East now seems to be moving towards open military conflict. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has claimed that it has targeted two American Black Hawk helicopters. This claim has come at a time when US President Donald Trump has warned of a massive attack on Iran after 48 hours.
iran Ibrahim Zolfagri, spokesman for the Joint Military Command of the United States, said that on Friday several enemy targets were attacked, in which these helicopters were also included. He called this day a black and humiliating Friday for the American and Zionist enemies. However, these claims have not yet been independently confirmed.
There have been reports of the attack in some sections of the American media, but it has not been officially confirmed. Iran had earlier also claimed to have shot down two American fighter planes. Amidst these claims, the US Army is busy searching for the missing pilot in a remote area of south-western Iran.

According to reports, an American A-10 Thunderbolt II was targeted in one attack, which fell in the Persian Gulf. The F-15E Strike Eagle was also attacked, in which one of the two pilots on board was saved, while the search for the other is going on. Iranian media also released videos of these attacks, which strengthened the claims.
US President Donald Trump has been continuously saying that America has weakened Iran’s military strength in this conflict. But Iran’s latest claims seem to challenge this narrative. Iran not only claimed to have shot down American planes, but also said that American claims are far from reality.

Iran has also claimed to have attacked an American CH-47 Chinook helicopter in Kuwait. It is clear from this that the conflict is now taking the form of a comprehensive military confrontation and not just limited attacks. F-15E Strike Eagle is a very modern multi-role fighter aircraft of the US Air Force, which is capable of carrying out accurate attacks on both air and ground.
It is equipped with state-of-the-art radar and electronic warfare systems. While A-10 Thunderbolt II may be an old platform, its strength is still considered very important in ground attack missions. It specializes in destroying tanks and armored targets. In such a situation, the loss of these planes is being considered a big blow for America.
