Actor Suraj Pancholi recently shared his jail experience. In an interview, he told how he was kept at the age of 21 in the same cell where Ajmal Kasab, 26/11, was kept.

In an interview to Hindi Rush, actor Suraj Pancholi said, “Where Kasab was kept, I was also kept in the same cell. They behaved with me the same as I had blasted a bomb. I was kept where Kasab was kept.

Suraj Pancholi further said, “At that time I was only 21 years old. I did not even get a pillow to sleep. I used to sleep with a head on the newspaper, on the same newspaper in which the articles printed about me were cut and kept. I used to sleep with my head on them.”

Please tell that Suraj Pancholi was arrested after the death of actress Jia Khan in 2013. He had to stay in jail for 22 days before getting bail. Jia’s family believed that Pancholi was responsible for his daughter’s death.

At the same time, Suraj Pancholi’s life is now slowly returning to track. Recently, Salman Khan shared a picture with him and wrote, “Abhi Raat hai, the sun will shine in the morning.”

Suraj Pancholi’s first film was ‘Hero’ (2015). After which he appeared in ‘Satellite Shankar’ (2019) and Time to Dance (2021). At the same time, recently Suraj’s new film ‘Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath’ was released in theaters on 23 May 2025. The film is based on the story of heroes protecting the Somnath temple in the 14th century. The film also stars Sunil Shetty, Vivek Oberoi and Akanksha Sharma in important roles.
