On the evening of 28 July, Javed Akhtar informed fans on his X account (formerly Twitter) that his X account had been tampered with recently. He also said that the Olympic post for India was also not made by him, but by a hacker.
He said in the tweet- My X ID has been hacked. Apparently there is a message from my account about our Indian team for the Olympics. It is completely harmless, but I did not post it.
We are in the process of complaining to the relevant authorities regarding this matter.

Accounts of celebs like Big B, Shahid Kapoor have also been hacked
Like Javed Akhtar, many celebs’ X accounts have been hacked. In 2019, Amitabh Bachchan’s Twitter (now X account) was hacked. Big B’s account was hacked by a Turkish man who replaced his profile with that of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan.
This list also includes the names of Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and Nora Fatehi, whose X account has been hacked at some point or the other.
