Threatened to withdraw the case in 7 days
In her statement to the police, the NRI woman from Jalandhar said that on August 24, she received a threatening call on her UK number. In which the accused said that you have only 7 days, withdraw all the seven cases pending in the court as soon as possible. Otherwise, you will return abroad in a box. Your family will be harmed before you. So withdraw all the cases.
After receiving the call, the victim immediately reported the matter to the police. After investigation, the police registered a case on Friday. The police is investigating the matter technically so that it can be known from where the said call was generated.
The victim said – there is a property dispute going on with the family
The NRI woman, who lives in a posh area of Jalandhar, said that she is about 45 years old and has two children. Both of them currently live in England and she herself is also a resident of England. She had her own house in Sector-8 of Chandigarh. Currently, she is living in Jalandhar.
The NRI woman said that she is having a property dispute with her parents, sister and brother-in-law. Her ancestral house in Chandigarh was sold by her family without informing her. About 7 such cases are going on in her court. When the victim talked about her share, a dispute started with her family. In such a situation, now the victim is fighting a case for her share.
