Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has busted an international drug smuggling network and recovered 1400 kg of powdered poppy. Three smugglers have been arrested in this case. The police have recovered two vehicles with him, in which the drug was being transported from here to there.

The accused also have links with some smugglers from Gujarat. With whom the accused used to supply opium in foreign countries.
