Dhruv Rathi has posted a video from the official social media account. In this he reads the comment of a social media user, in which it was written, Jaago Hindu, Janhvi Kapoor has posted for Bangladeshi Hindu and Dhruv Rathi has posted a video questioning her beauty.

While reading this, Dhruv Rathi said, ‘God has given you the brain, why don’t you use it. You will blindly believe whatever posts the BJP IT cell keeps posting. The first thing is that the day Janhvi Kapoor posted, I posted the video within half an hour. Is it logically possible for me to research, shoot, edit and upload a half-hour video within a single day? Secondly, I myself made a reel on Bangladeshi Hindus, so why would I criticize (Janhvi Kapoor) on that thing.

Dhruv Rathi further said, look, ‘I am not like you guys, that I don’t go around here and there and indirectly criticize anyone. Whatever I have to say, I say it on my face. Neither am I afraid of your father (as Dhruv says about Narendra Modi), nor am I afraid of any Bollywood celebrity. Whatever I have to say, I say it openly and directly to his face. The third most interesting thing is that my entire video is on plastic surgery and what impact it has on the society. I did not ask any questions to Janhvi Kapoor in the entire video. Explaining the reason for including Janhvi Kapoor in the thumbnail of the YouTube video, Dhruv Rathi has said, ‘Janhvi has been included in the thumbnail because among all the actresses today who have admitted that they have undergone plastic surgery, Janhvi Kapoor is the most famous.’

After the controversy, the thumbnail of Dhruv Rathi’s YouTube video was changed. Many people wrote on social media that they have made this change after the controversy. On this, Dhruv has clarified that every video has multiple thumbnails, which keep changing themselves. He didn’t do it himself.

Hindu youth Dipu Chandra Das was brutally murdered in Bangladesh on the night of 18 December. Enraged by this, Janhvi Kapoor wrote on social media,

If you don’t know about this inhumane public lynching, read about it, watch videos, ask questions. And if even after seeing and understanding all this there is no anger within you, then understand that this type of hypocritical thinking will not let us even know and will destroy us from within.

He further wrote, We keep crying half-heartedly over the incidents happening in some other corner of the world, while our own brothers and sisters are being burnt alive. Communal discrimination and extremism, whether we are its victims or perpetrators, must be exposed and condemned in all its forms, before we forget our humanity.
