Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has reached Italy to attend the meeting of foreign ministers of G7 countries. Here he spoke to the Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera on many issues including Ukraine War and India-China. Jaishankar stressed on diplomatic solution to Ukraine war. There is no military solution to the Ukraine war, he said. For this, a fresh dialogue should be started”.
On the issue of buying oil from Russia amid the Ukraine war, he said that every region should think about the reality of the economy. If Europe cares so much about its principles then it should itself end all trade with Russia.

At the Mediterranean Dialogue held in Rome, Jaishankar stressed on strong trade, investment and political ties with the West and Middle East Asia.
European Union is India’s biggest business partner
Jaishankar advocated promoting diplomatic efforts to engage Moscow and Kiev as well as all parties involved in this war in talks. He stressed on increasing international cooperation, especially between India and the European Union.
He said- “The European Union is India’s largest business partner and investor. We have been continuously making big agreements for the last few years. I have been seeing ever-increasing strategic agreements between the two in the last few years. He suggested that both A beneficial agreement can enhance economic cooperation.

S Jaishankar met Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrey Sibiha in Italy. Both the leaders talked about increasing bilateral cooperation.
Countries should emphasize their own benefits more than external affairs.
Regarding geopolitical pressure, especially the tension with China, he said that countries should emphasize on their own country’s interests more than external affairs. My life does not revolve around any other country. I am interested in seeing a peaceful, prosperous and cooperative region.
Arrived to attend the outreach meeting of foreign ministers of G7 countries S Jaishankar has reached Italy for a three-day visit. Here he will be a part of the outreach meeting of foreign ministers of G7 countries to be held from 24 to 26 November. Italy has invited India as a guest country for this meeting.

S Jaishankar also met people from the Indian community in Rome.
This meeting of foreign ministers is going on in Fiuggi, Italy. During his visit he also inaugurated the new premises of the Indian Embassy in Rome. Apart from this, he also participated in the 10th edition of ‘Mediterranean Dialogue’ organized by the International Institute of Political Studies (ISPI).
The Mediterranean Dialogue is held every year in Rome. This is commonly known as mad dialogue. This time its event will run from 25 to 27 November.
