Actor Vijay Thalapathi was surrounded by fans at Chennai airport. The actor slipped in the chaos, after which he was made to sit in the car.

Actor and Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) President Thalapathy Vijay slipped and fell while walking towards his car at Chennai Airport on Sunday night. After returning from Malaysia, a large number of fans surrounded him at the airport itself, due to which this accident happened.

The security personnel immediately picked him up and put him in the car. Vijay was not injured, but the video went viral on social media.

Vijay Malaysia went to the audio launch of his last film ‘Jannanayakan’.

On reaching Chennai airport, a crowd of fans gathered to see actor Vijay.

Due to the crowd of fans, the actor was surrounded by security personnel.

Vijay slipped while moving towards the car. He was immediately picked up by the security personnel.

1 lakh people attended the audio launch in Malaysia

On 27 December, Vijay addressed a huge gathering at the Bukit Jalil Stadium in Kuala Lumpur. An estimated 1,00,000 people had gathered for the Jananayakan audio launch here.

The event was recognized in the Malaysian Book of Records for recording the largest audience for an audio launch in the country.

Said to stay away from cinema

In this program Vijay made an important announcement about his future. He said that he wants to stay away from cinema and concentrate on public life.

He told the audience…

When I came to the cinema, I felt like I was building a small sand house. But you built a palace for me. You built a fort for me. For those fans who left everything for me, I myself am leaving cinema.

Jannayakan, directed by H Vinod, will release in theaters on Pongal 2026.
