Recently there were reports about music composer Anu Malik that he is angry at not getting credit in the song ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ of Border-2. An interview of his had come out quoting PTI, in which he had demanded credit.
Now Anu Malik has given his clarification on this entire controversy. He has written about it on his Instagram story. He writes- ‘I want to make it clear that Bhushan ji has already given me credit in the song Ghar Kab Aaoge with utmost respect and warmth. This is a unique collaboration, of which I am very proud. I have also shared my views on social media platforms. Whatever claims any other report makes are false. I stand with this collaboration with pride and gratitude.

Talking about the song ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’, T-Series had released its teaser on 29 December. In the teaser, Anu Malik’s name appears first in the song credits. Along with him, the name of lyricist Javed Akhtar is also included, who has written the original song. Apart from this, both their names have also been included in the song description.
Let us tell you that the song ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ is to be launched in a grand manner on January 2, in which the entire star cast of the film will be present.


At the same time, this song is a recreation of Border’s song ‘Sandesh Aate Hain’ released 28 years ago. Roop Kumar Rathod lent his voice along with Sonu Nigam in that song. The lyrics of the song were written by Javed Akhtar and the music was by Anu Malik. In the new song ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’, Mithun has got the credit for song recreation, Manoj Muntashir has got the credit for new lyrics. At the same time, ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ has been voiced by Arijit Singh, Vishal Mishra and Diljit Dosanjh along with Sonu Nigam.
Anu Malik composed this song in 7 minutes
Anu Malik had told in an interview that one day while sitting in the sound studio, a tune came to his mind. He narrated this tune to Javed Akhtar and Javed Saheb narrated the same tune to JP Dutta who was making Border at that time. JP Dutta liked the tune and on his request, Javed Akhtar wrote the first 3 stanzas and then being unhappy with the lyrics, he also added the paragraph ‘Ae passar gayi hawaa’.
As soon as the lyrics were completed, JP Dutta and Javed Sahab were sitting in the presence of Anu Malik and deciding how to compose the song in just 3 days. This discussion lasted for about 7 minutes, in this time Anu Malik composed the entire song.
