Bollywood actor Govinda has apologized for the comments made by his wife Sunita Ahuja about the Pandit in his family.

Govinda released a video on November 4 and said, “Respected Pandit Mukesh Shukla ji is a very qualified, authentic and very virtuous person. There are very few such select people and families in Uttar Pradesh who have a deep understanding of the Yagya method and experiment. I feel that you and your family are one of them. Our family has been associated with your father, respected Jatadhari ji, for many years. My respected wife said some abusive words about you, for that. I apologize and also refute them.”

He further said, “Pandit Mukesh ji and his family have been with me in difficult times. I respect them a lot.”

Sunita had commented on Govinda’s priest

Let us tell you that this whole matter started when recently during a conversation in a podcast, Paras said – ‘Not every astrologer is right’, to which Sunita replied, “There is one in our house too, Govinda’s priest.”

She further said, “They get the puja done and take Rs 2 lakh. I say do the puja yourself, nothing happens with the puja done by them.”

Sunita also said, “God accepts the worship done with your own hands. I do not do devotion by paying money to anyone. Only the one who is afraid is afraid.”
