A youth resident of Dinanagar, Gurdaspur in Punjab has died under suspicious circumstances in Birmingham, England. This incident came to light on January 11. The family has also appealed to the Central and Punjab governments for assistance in bringing the body of the deceased back to India.

Pawan Kumar, father of the deceased youth, told that his 27-year-old son Naman Khullar had gone to England five years ago to earn a living. He worked as a delivery boy for a Pakistani woman in Birmingham.
Younger brother works in a mobile shop
According to Pawan Kumar, he received information about his son’s death on phone on January 11. Naman had talked to his mother and two brothers on phone on the night of January 10 and returned to his room after finishing his work. However, news of his death was received the next morning.
Father Pawan Kumar has written a letter to Gurdaspur MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa seeking help in bringing his son’s body to India. He told that he works as a tea seller and Naman was the only earning member of the family. His two younger sons work at a mobile shop.
