The Israeli army has launched a massive airstrike in two major cities of Gaza early Sunday morning. The first attack took place in Deir al-Balah city in central Gaza. The second attack took place in Sheikh Rajwan in northern Gaza. The IDF targeted the Hamama school. 16 people died in this attack, while 21 people were injured. All the injured were immediately taken to the hospital by ambulance. This attack was so severe that the school and a part of its premises were completely destroyed. There was screaming and shouting everywhere. People were seen running here and there to save their lives.
Rami Dabbaish, a civil security worker, said, “A major attack has been carried out on the Hamama school. After reaching there, we started our work. We removed the bodies of those killed in this attack. After this, a school employee received a call from the Israeli army. It was told that this area would be targeted again. We left from there. This area was targeted again, due to which the number of deaths doubled. “
Meanwhile, the civil defence working in Israel has warned that it is running out of fuel. Work will stop in a short while. Hence, they will not be able to use ambulances and fire engines. Israeli attacks have been going on continuously in Gaza since 7 October. So far, about 40 thousand Palestinians have died in 10 months. Most of the 23 lakh population is homeless. They are facing a serious humanitarian crisis.
Let us tell you that Israel is surrounded from all sides at this time. It is fighting a war on many fronts simultaneously. War is going to start very soon with Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Houthis in Yemen and their biggest ally Iran. The biggest reason for this is that Israel has killed Hamas chief Ismail Haniyya in the capital Tehran. Haniyya had gone to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new President of Iran.
On the intervening night of 30 and 31 July, the building in which Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh was staying as a guest was razed to the ground. Along with Haniyeh, one of his security guards was also killed in this attack.
