WhatsApp had said – If pressure is created then we will leave India, we cannot give information about users’ messages. Two big platforms of Meta, WhatsApp and Facebook had filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the newly amended IT rules. WhatsApp had said that if it was forced to break the encryption of messages, it would leave India.
