Skydiving festival celebrated in Narnaul
On the occasion of World Skydiving Day, skydiving was celebrated on a global level at the 300 drop-zone Mirzapur Bachhod airstrip in Narnaul. The adventure sport was promoted through this event organized by Sky High India at the country’s only civil skydiving drop zone.
On this occasion, the Union Minister said, I believe that the future of skydiving in India is bright. Thousands of people from our country travel to countries like Dubai, Singapore, Thailand and New Zealand to experience the thrill of skydiving, but now it is available in the country itself. The Minister also emphasized the importance of aero sports to promote the tourism industry.

Skydiving to boost adventure tourism industry in India
Shekhawat said India will promote the skydiving adventure tourism industry and will also help in promoting new tourist destinations. The government is working closely with the Sky High team to ensure this. On this occasion, India’s first dedicated skydiving aircraft VT-SBS was flagged off. This aircraft imported from the USA has been specially configured for skydiving.
