करिश्मा की बेटी की बात पर कोर्ट ने जताई नाराजगी: अदालत में कहा था- दो महीने से मेरी कॉलेज की फीस नहीं भरी गई

The ongoing dispute between Karisma Kapoor’s children and Priya Kapoor regarding Sanjay Kapoor’s property was heard in the Delhi High Court on Friday. During the hearing, Karishma’s daughter Samaira told the court that her university fees were pending for two months. This fee is from the US-based university where she is studying.

At the same time, Priya Kapoor termed this allegation as wrong. The court objected to this statement of Karishma’s children and said that such comments should not be made in the court again.

According to Bar & Bench report, on Friday the High Court also heard the interim injunction filed by Karishma’s children. In this he has demanded to stop Priya from selling Sanjay’s property. Senior advocate Mahesh Jethmalani, appearing for the children, said that the property of the children was with Priya, hence it was her responsibility to take care of Samaira’s fees.

Mahesh said, “Samaira is studying in America and she has not received fees for two months.”

Jethmalani also said that as per the marriage law, it was Sanjay Kapoor’s responsibility for the children’s education and expenses.

Karishma and Sanjay’s daughter Samaira was born on 11 March 2005. Whereas, son Kiyan was born on 12 March 2010.

Priya’s lawyer called all the allegations false

At the same time, senior advocate Rajeev Nair, appearing on behalf of Sanjay’s third wife Priya, termed the allegations as false. He said that all the expenses deposited in the name of children have been cleared by Priya.

The court asked both the parties to avoid bringing such matters to the court. The court told Priya’s senior advocate Shail Trehan that such cases should be handled carefully in future.

During the hearing of the case, Judge Jyoti Singh said, “I do not want to spend more than 30 seconds on this. This question should not come in my court again. The hearing should not be made dramatic. The responsibility is on you. This issue should not arise further.”

Delhi High Court will now hear the case next on November 19.

Sanjay Kapoor died of a heart attack on 12 June 2025 in London. After her death, Karisma’s children Samaira and Kiaan have filed a case against Priya.

The allegation in the case is that Priya has made changes in the will. The children say that Sanjay had promised to give them a share in his property, but this is no longer there in the will papers. This matter is still going on in the court.
