‘ओ रेमियो’ में गाली बोलने पर फरीदा जलाल का रिएक्शन: बोलीं- मैं मां-बहन की गाली नहीं दे सकती, विशाल भारद्वाज के साथ काम करना सपना था

Recently the teaser of Vishal Bhardwaj’s multi-starrer film ‘O Romeo’ was released. In this, after Shahid Kapoor, if anyone has caught everyone’s attention then it is actress Farida Jalal. In the teaser, Farida Jalal was seen in a new style and was shown abusing.

Now the actress has talked about this. She told that Vishal Bhardwaj was included in the list of her favorite director and she could not refuse him. In an interview given to Zoom, Farida says- “Vishal came to my house and asked me whether you would abuse me or not?”

Sharing her reaction to Vishal’s question, Farida said, “Can you imagine? I didn’t know what to say. I was so overwhelmed that I was going to get a chance to work with him. No, leave it, leave it… I was not going to say like that.”

Farida further says – “The man with whom I always wanted to work was sitting in front of me. I just said that I will not use naked, dirty abuses. I can use small, minor abuses. According to me, it was not very obscene or dirty. I will not say mother or sister. He started laughing and understood my point.”

Farida also addressed the reaction on social media to her dialogue. He said, “I have said this only once in the film and look what an uproar it has created.

People are saying on social media that our beloved grandmother/mother abused us. He has been watching me since childhood and I too have stayed away from such dialogues. But the character is like that. She is always angry. Once you choose a character, you have to immerse yourself completely.”

Vishal Bhardwaj’s O Remo is going to release on February 13. Apart from Shahid Kapoor, actors like Nana Patekar, Vikrant Massey, Avinash Tiwari, Farida Jalal, Trupti Dimri, Disha Patani and Tamannaah Bhatia have worked in it.

The film has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. This will be the first time that Vishal and Sajid are working together.
