Iranian-born Sacred Games fame actress Elnaaz Norouzi has expressed strong opposition to the appointment of Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Supreme Leader of Iran. Elnaz says that Iran’s future will be ruined in the hands of Mojtaba. He raised the question as to who has chosen Mojtaba as the Supreme Leader.
Earlier, Elnaz had supported the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Now Elnaaz has said that the government there does not listen to the people. People cannot even vote as per their wish. Those who protest there are put in jail or shot.
Elnaaz also said that India is her second home, where she feels very happy and safe. She wants to stay here and continue her work.

Slogans were raised at the age of 6
Born in Iran, Elnaaz’s family moved to Germany when she was a child. He holds German citizenship. Recalling her old days, Elnaaz told that when she was just 6 years old, she was forcibly made to chant slogans of ‘Death to America and Israel’ in school.
According to him, the Iranian government imposes its ideology on the people. People have no rights there.
The value of Iranian currency has fallen by 98%
Elnaz also expressed grief over Iran’s economic situation. He told that Iran is a country very rich in oil and natural resources, but the government has ruined it. The value of the currency there has fallen by 98 percent.
Elnaz was born in Iran. The family moved to Germany when Elnaaz was a child.
An average person barely earns $100 a month, while the cost of living is very high. He alleged that the government was using people’s money to fund organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah instead of spending it on its own people.
Desire to return to independent Iran
Elnaaz wants that child marriage should be stopped in Iran and women should get rights like watching football matches and becoming judges. She said that the day Iran becomes independent, she will return to her country and family.
Elnaaz Norouzi has also appeared in many projects in India and got special recognition from the web series ‘Sacred Games’.
