US President Donald Trump has appealed to both countries to exercise restraint amidst rapid growing tension between India and Pakistan. He said that this situation is “very terrible” and hoped that both countries will soon find peaceful solutions. This statement of President Trump came after the missile attack on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK) by the Indian Army.
Indian attacks were carried out in many areas including Bahawalpur in Pakistan, where the places of Jaish-e-Mohammed were present. This attack was the answer to the Pahalgam terror attack. Meanwhile, United Nations Secretary -General Antonio Guterres appealed to India and Pakistan to exercise maximum military restraint. His spokesperson said that the world cannot “capacity” the military struggle between India and Pakistan.

President Trump said, “His fight has been going on for a very long time. For decades and centuries.” Describing the incident as “shameful”, he said that he came to know about it during the conversation held at the Oval Office. Trump also said that he has good relations with both India and Pakistan and if he can help in any way, then he is ready immediately.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also told that they are closely monitoring the situation between India and Pakistan. He said that the US wants the two countries to find a resolution of their disputes soon so that the regional stability can be maintained.
