Preparations for Bihar assembly elections have now reached the final phase. Today, on Saturday, the Election Commission of India (ECI) is going to hold an important meeting with all recognized political parties of the state.

According to the instructions issued by the Election Commission, the meeting will run from 10 am to 12 noon at Hotel Taj, Patna. The meeting will be chaired by CEC Gyanesh Kumar.
The Commission has appealed to all national and state -level recognized political parties to be present in the meeting. It has been clarified in the letter that a maximum of 3 representatives from each party will be allowed to attend the meeting.
Suggestions and strategies will be discussed
The meeting will discuss other things, including preparations for the upcoming assembly elections, arrangements for voting centers, tightening security to model code of conduct. The Election Commission has expected political parties to make its creative suggestions to strengthen transparency and fairness in the electoral process.
According to a letter issued by Additional Chief Electoral Officer Amit Kumar Pandey, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Communist Party of India (Marxist), Indian National Congress, National People’s Party, Janata Dal (United), National Lok Jans Shakti Party, Lok Janashakti Party, Lok Janashakti Party (RJD), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). Representatives of dozens of parties including Liberation will be present.

Marathon review meetings to be held on October 4 and 5
On October 4 and 5, the high -level team of the Election Commission will review security, administrative preparations and all election related works in the state. The team will separate the state’s Chief Secretary, Director General of Police, Chiefs of various central agencies as well as DM and Senior Superintendents of Police of all the districts.
Apart from this, there will also be separate meetings with the Chief Electoral Officer and the State Election Commissioner, in which issues ranging from booth management to sensitive areas will be prominent.
Election dates may be announced soon
The Election Commission team can formally announce the dates of the Bihar Assembly elections at any time after returning to Delhi after the completion of the review meetings. As soon as the announcement is made, the Model Code of Conduct in the state will be implemented with immediate effect.
