Some farmers still went ahead and reached the police officers. Here the police personnel used pepper spray to stop them. Once the farmers moved backwards. When the farmers tried to move forward again, tear gas shells were fired by the police.
A total of 8 farmers were injured in this entire incident. Later Sarwan Singh Pandher called back the group of farmers. After this incident which lasted for two and a half hours, the farmers started back towards the protest site. He also took barbed wire and barricades with him. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher then said that farmers will again march to Delhi on December 8. On December 6, 8 farmers were injured due to tear gas shells fired by Haryana Police.

After this, farmer leader Pandher said that he will take further decision after holding a meeting of Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and United Kisan Morcha (non-political).
