Telangana Police has held 23 people including actor Allu Arjun guilty of the stampede. A 100-page charge sheet was filed in Nampally court and it was said that the stampede had happened due to lack of management.
Last year, on December 4, 2024, there was a stampede during the premiere screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre, RTC Cross Road, Hyderabad. A woman named Revati lost her life in this. His 8 year old son Shritej was seriously injured.

- Chikkadpally ACP Ramesh Kumar, who conducted the investigation, said the police had informed Arjun’s manager Santosh that the situation was out of control.

But this has not happened till date. This has happened absolutely unfortunately. I am very sorry about this incident.
