On January 1, Rakesh Chandra Swamy, father-in-law of popular television actor Arjun Bijlani, passed away. Arjun Bijlani had gone to Dubai to celebrate the New Year, but returned immediately after receiving the news of his father-in-law’s demise.

Arjun Bijlani’s father-in-law Rakesh Chandra Swamy was 73 years old. He had suffered a head injury just a few days ago, after which he was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Mumbai. He died during treatment on the afternoon of January 1.
