Suspicious drones have been seen over an important US Army base in Washington. According to the Washington Post, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth are staying inside the military base Fort Leslie McNair.

Over the past 10 days, multiple drones were spotted over Fort Leslie McNair overnight, leading to increased security and an emergency meeting at the White House on the issue.

Warning issued for US embassies around the world
Meanwhile, America has issued a security alert for its embassies around the world and security has also been tightened at many military bases inside the country. The security level at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey and MacDill Air Force Base in Florida has been increased to ‘Charlie’.
This means that there is a possibility of some attack or danger. The only level above this is the ‘Delta’ level, which applies when an attack has occurred or is about to occur.
Officials also considered whether to relocate Rubio and Hegseth after drones were spotted over Fort McNair. However, they have not been removed from there yet.
