The US government has announced to ban visas of those who sensor the posts of American people on the social media platforms of American tech companies. America is the first country to take this decision.
External Affairs Minister Marco Rubia said- If foreign officials do post censors in their country by threatening arrest or other punishment, it will not be accepted.
He said that a visa ban will be imposed on those foreign officials who demand a content removal or control on the US tech platforms.
Rubio said- It is not acceptable that foreign officials threaten arrest for their social media posts against American citizens present in American.
In the statement of the US Secretary of State, no particular country or officer’s name is mentioned.
However, Rubio said that some foreign nationals have taken action against American tech companies and American citizens, while they did not have the right to do so.
