Friends informed the family The family got the news of Pradeep’s murder from Pradeep’s friends living in America. According to the family, on the night of 17 October, one of Pradeep’s friends called and informed that a retired soldier came to the store and suddenly started firing. After shooting Pradeep, the accused also shot himself. Pradeep died on the spot. The family said that the reason for the firing is not yet clear. Pradeep’s family has appealed to the Haryana government and the Central government to bring their son’s mortal remains to India as soon as possible.
Earlier also a young man from the same village was murdered in America. Three months ago, Sanjeev (32) of Hathlana village was shot dead in California. He worked in a restaurant and had gone out to get food from his room. Then someone shot him. Sanjeev went to America through the donkey route in 2016 after spending Rs 35 lakh. His PR (permanent citizenship) had also been done and he was scheduled to return to India after four days. Talks about his marriage were also going on. The police have not yet identified the accused in that case also. It is not yet clear whether there is any connection between the two murder cases or not.
