Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel has warned her fans to beware of fake numbers. While sharing a screenshot of the suspicious contact in her Instagram story, Ameesha said that someone is using her name and photo. He clarified that the number being circulated is not his.

Along with the screenshot, the actress wrote – ‘This number is fake and this person is a fraud. Please don’t fall for it. This is not me.

The actress has alerted people about this scam on social media and appealed not to fall victim to any fake call or message made in her name and to remain alert.

Expressing concern over this entire issue, Ameesha said how easily misinformation can spread in the digital space, especially when it involves public figures. Emphasizing the seriousness of the issue, he warned fans that the person behind the fake number may try to defraud people by misusing their identity.

Talking about Ameesha’s work front, her ‘Gadar-2’ was released in the year 2023, which was her comeback film. This became the actress’s highest grossing film till date.
