There has been theft in the house of senior actress Poonam Dhillon. Poonam was alone at home when the theft took place, while her son Anmol had gone to Dubai. Within a few hours after the complaint was registered, the police arrested the thief, who confessed to his crime.

The accused has been identified as 37-year-old Sameer Ansari. Actually, Sameer Ansari is a painter, who came to Poonam Dhillon’s house to do painting work. He completed the painting between 28 December and 5 January.
According to the statement of Sameer Ansari, one day while painting, he found the cupboard of the house open and committed the theft. He told that the valuables were still with him, however, out of Rs 35,000, he parted with Rs 9,000.
