Another news was the Economic Survey presented a day before the budget, according to which only 51% of the youth of the country are employable.
But before tomorrow’s big news, here are today’s major events that will be in focus…

Now tomorrow’s big news…
1. Name plate is not necessary on shops on Kanwar route, Supreme Court overturned the decision of UP government

Following the UP government’s order to reveal identity, the UP police had written and pasted the names of the shopkeepers.
The Supreme Court has ordered that shopkeepers on the Kanwar Yatra route do not need to reveal their identity. Along with this, notices have been issued to the governments of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand and a reply has been sought by Friday. Actually, shop owners on the Kanwar Yatra route in all three states were ordered to write their names. The court said that hoteliers can tell what kind of food (vegetarian or non-vegetarian) they are serving. They should not be forced to write their names.
Who filed the petition: An NGO named Association for Protection of Civil Rights filed a petition in the Supreme Court on July 20. Petitioner’s lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that minorities are being economically boycotted through their identification. This is worrying. The next hearing on the case will be held in the Supreme Court on July 26.
What is the whole matter: On July 19, the UP government had ordered that the owners of shops, hotels and dhabas on the route of the Kanwar Yatra should write their names and those of the staff so that there is no confusion among the Kanwariyas. The government said that this decision was taken to maintain the purity of the Kanwar pilgrims.
After UP, on July 20, it was made mandatory to write the name and mobile number of shopkeepers in shops on the Kanwar Yatra route in Uttarakhand and Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. However, after the Supreme Court’s decision, the MP government has clarified that no such order has been given by them.
