The political war that started on the question why ‘Khan or Pathan’ cannot be on the post of Mayor of Mumbai has intensified. BJP leader and MLA Nitish Rane said on the statement of AIMIM leader Waris Pathan that he himself is ready to send those who see such dreams to Pakistan.

Rane said that AIMIM leaders should take their party to Islamabad or Karachi, because all this is not possible in Hindutva Mumbai and India. He said- Only saffron wearer will become mayor on this land of Mahadev.

AIMIM national spokesperson Waris Pathan had recently given a statement as to why Khan, Pathan, Shaikh or Syed cannot become mayor of Mumbai. He had questioned the statement of BJP Mumbai chief Amit Satam, in which he had said that he would not allow any Khan to become the Mayor of Mumbai.
