Assam Police seized 76,000 Yaba tablets in the raid. During this period 3 people were arrested. These tablets were being smuggled through 2 vehicles. Its price is around Rs 1 crore. The raid took place in Patel Nagar area of ​​Shribhoomi district.

Yaba tablets contain methamphetamine and caffeine. It is red in color and is produced in Shan, Kachin and two other states of eastern Myanmar.

Earlier, Assam Rifles in a joint operation with the Customs Department seized about 1 kg of crystal methamphetamine. It is commonly known as ICE. Its price in the international market is around Rs 16 crore.
