There was heavy firing between Taliban-occupied Afghanistan and Pakistan on Sunday night. According to Pakistani website Geo News, at least 8 Taliban fighters were killed in this. At the same time, 16 were injured.
The report said that firing from both sides started at 9 pm on the border in Khost Province and continued for four hours.
Sources associated with the border security personnel said that two senior commanders of the Afghan Taliban, Khalil and Jan Muhammad, were also among those killed. It is not known how many Pakistani soldiers were killed in the clash.

After coming back to power, the Taliban maintained the stance of the old government and staked its claim on the border areas. Apart from this, the Taliban government started building new posts in these areas.

He said that these terrorists are targeting Pakistani soldiers in Balochistan.
