Earlier yesterday, Dhurandhar 2 had joined the list of top 10 highest grossing films of the world this year. According to the list of Box Office Mojo, this Ranveer Singh starrer film has left behind the films of many big Hollywood celebs like Chris Hemsworth and Zendaya.
This list includes big films like ‘Project Hail Mary’, ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ and ‘Wuthering Heights’. The film has made its place in this elite list by leaving behind the Chinese animated movie ‘Boonie Bears: The Hidden Protector’ ($139 million).

Beat big Hollywood films
This film of Ranveer Singh has left behind the films of many Hollywood actors in terms of earnings. Chris Hemsworth’s film ‘Crime 101’ had earned $72 million after its release in February, which is much less than ‘Dhurandhar 2’.
Similarly, the film has also defeated Rachel McAdams’ ‘Send Help’ ($94 million) and Riz Ahmed’s ‘Hamlet’ ($78 million). Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s film ‘The Drama’ has earned only $26 million so far, while ‘Dhurandhar 2’ had collected $80 million in its opening weekend itself.

The success of this film can be gauged from the fact that it left behind the overseas lifetime collection of the first part of ‘Dhurandhar’ in just 10 days. It has become the fastest film to earn Rs 1000 crore (worldwide).
The film has achieved all the milestones from Rs 100 crore to Rs 1000 crore in the shortest time in India. Additionally, it has also become the biggest Hindi opener and the film with the biggest opening weekend so far.
